There are hundreds, maybe thousands of local news websites across the UK.

Would you be able to check your local one(s) for Brexit-related news?

Specifically, job losses, company moves and the like.

- News stories *newer than 13 December 2019*
-Stories explicitly connected to, or the result of, Brexit. The connection has to be made in a quote *by someone connected with the firm* e.g a CEO, senior manager etc.

What I am NOT looking for:
- News stories where link to Brexit is speculative (e.g. connection is made by the journalist, a union representative, an opposition MP etc.)
- News stories without the name of the company in them (e.g. "leading X company" is useless).

The UK's entire export of cabbages, cauliflowers and kale is worth £13.7 million. Not billion. Million.

Average car plant loses more than that down the back of the sofa. Yet somehow this is a "win" worth trumpeting. Shameful!

Matt Hancock wants to enable nurses to retrain as doctors (relatively) quickly, now that we're free of the strict EU rules that govern the acquisition of the relevant medical qualification. What could possibly go wrong?

Presumably the elite Tories won't care because they'll have private "real doctors" and the rest of us will have "special doctors" on quickie qualifications.
Imagine the same idea spilling out into other professions. "People to qualify as forensic detectives after watching a minimum of 11 seasons of 'CSI' and its offshoots"...

You shouldn't really tweet when you're angry, so I'm going to have to be careful how I phrase this tweet, because at the moment I am very, very angry.

The Remain movement has within it the drive, imagination & purpose to come together & defeat Brexit.
Yet it seems incapable of doing so, for reasons I can't fully fathom. All Remainers are agreed on one thing - that Brexit is bad and should be stopped. For reasons known only to themselves, they can't agree on the best method of achieving this goal.
Everybody agrees on the destination - no fucker can agree on the route to be taken.
Do we dress up? Do we take a more sober approach? Do we sing songs? Do we put banners and advertising hoardings up in strategic places? Do we stand on College Green with a megaphone?

One of the bizarre notions of #Brexit voters is that paying x billion into EU to run the common market gives EU consumers a duty to buy British products rather than an opportunity to market UK exports.
This British delusion about how trade works is illustrated by Brexit voting idiots saying stuff like “we pay 40m for a trade deficit of 150m”. They confuse foreign trade with buying things abroad. Producing and marketing stuff that foreign consumers actually want is beyond them.
The same delusion is at work when British politicians mention “the ability to strike our own trade deals”. Leavers think that somehow all that is required is a Doctor’s note from a disgraced Defense Secretary and instantly trade starts flowing to those foreign far flung countries

#Breaking - Some defense sources report #Indian air strikes across the Line of Control in Muzafarabad, #Pakistan. Indian air force briefing expected later today. Pakistan said Indian jets dropped their payloads & "fled". More confirmation of details needed.
There are also reports of dual, air and ground Indian strikes in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. No official word yet. Waiting for updates. Stay tuned.
There are also reports that 2 Pakistani JF-17s fighter jets have been shot down.

Jaguar Land Rover recently agreed 2 build a new plant in Slovakia with EU grant, owned by Tata, same company who trashed our steel industry & emptied workers pension funds.

British Army's new Ajax fighting vehicles to be built in SPAIN using SWEDISH steel at the request of the EU to support jobs in Spain with EU grant, rather than Wales.

Dyson gone 2 Malaysia, with EU loan. Crown Closures, Bournemouth (Was METAL BOX), gone 2Poland with EU grant,employed 1,200.
M&S manufacturing gone 2far east with EU loan.
