Chinese govt is now officially cheating the 🦠 numbers: test positive but no symptoms? China will no longer count that person as a confirmed case!!! This will also make death % look higher too. This kind of science corruption can not stand! Let’s tell @WHO this is not okay!
2) this new Chinese #coronavirus 🦠 case definition goes directly against WHO interim guidance that defines a Confirmed Case as any: “person with laboratory confirmation irrespective of clinical signs and symptoms”. CCP is clearly violating that. 🤔 who.int/publications-d…
3) As result of the “revised” #coronavirus case definition (in violation of @WHO rules, see above), China has begun retroactive scrubbing of their case numbers... reports indicate by deducting 100 cases from past 2 days. What a cluster😡.
4) The WHO sounded clueless yesterday and caught off guard by the diagnostic switch up by China. But it seems pretty real change in China’s own policy documents and case number 🧽.
5) FOLLOWUP TO CASE REDEFINITION SAGA: @lwcalex had blown the whistle on China’s #COVID19 diagnostic change- well WHO responded earlier today and it was hilariously contradictory. Alex -can you do a followup on Tedros’s apparent contradiction of his staff?

2) for any WHO haters out there - I don’t think many of you know what they do to help the world. No org is perfect, but WHO go where nobody else goes (to stop Ebola outbreaks in Africa so that it doesn’t come to US), and braving indescribable hardships to stop epidemics. Be nice.
3) if your issues are with Tedros, then take it up with him. Don’t fault or demean the 7000 hardworking ground staffers and countless more contractors who labor in 150 local country offices around the world to fight HIV, Ebola, bird flu, human flu, STDs, cancer, and malnutrition!

These are the most common #Options strategies when one would start with #OptionsTrading.

Let’s understand from a broader perspective what’s the difference between these two.
Would not like to discuss the construction difference between them if you don’t know stop trading #options

#Straddles

You get higher premium so pnl would be higher compared to #strangles

But from where are you getting higher premiums is that your selling 0.5 #delta.
So probability of one going wrong is always 50% so to simply put one side is goin to get stuck in a #straddle but then market tends to #flucuate a lot so there is always the case of #meanreversion if you have selected the #strike rightly.
