After Trump attacked his own prosecutors on Twitter for daring to hold Roger Stone accountable for his crimes, the DOJ is now scaling back its sentencing recommendation.
Guess he found his Roy Cohn in Bill Barr after all.

Zelinksy, who worked on Mueller's team and helped prosecute Stone after Mueller's investigation ended, has also resigned from the DOJ "effective immediately."
UPDATE: The full letter can be read below. It appears Zelinsky has resigned from his position as assistant U.S. attorney in D.C., but is retaining his post at the U.S. attorney's office in Maryland.
Jonathan Kravis, another assistant U.S. attorney who was involved in the prosecution of Stone, has also resigned. courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
A third DOJ official who was part of the Roger Stone case, Adam Jed, has also filed to withdraw from the case.
Michael Marando, the fourth DOJ attorney who was on the original sentencing recommendation, has also withdrawn from the case.
