JUST IN: The Judiciary Committee is seeking a rehearing of the McGahn case, saying an earlier Appeals Court ruling left the House with only extreme options to get info from the WH — such as arresting high-level officials.
The House also reiterated (for the first time post-impeachment) that it could consider new articles, perhaps for criminal obstruction of justice, if McGahn's testimony supports it.
NEW: The House Judiciary Committee says the ruling denying its effort to obtain MCGAHN's tesitmony would eviscerate congressional oversight of the president.

This is mostly related to open space, which has $40M in deferred maintenance. Two reasons for this: the increase in users/visitors and the decrease in sales tax revenue going to the dept.
The analysis around the reduced revenue was based on the reduction in acquisitions of property. But it didn't account for the huge amount of new visitors to open space: From 2005-2018, 4.68M to 6.25M users per year.

#New PA cong. map increases D chance of winning the House majority by 4%. They only need a 6.8% generic ballot margin now (down from 7.7) to be favored.

Diff. will be closer to 10% in Nov when uncertainty from polls is ⬇️. Redraw is a very big deal.

One major reason the new PA map is such a big gain for Democrats is that it solidifies, not just tips, PA districts in Philly burbs. Also creates one additional vulnerable R district. (Easily seen in this map made by @JMilesColeman)
My forecasting model will have new PA map in the near future. This is not just a simple switch; it’s a coding redesign, restructuring of input, & drawing new geographic files. Takes a while (for me, a student).
