professional foreigners - academics, bureaucrats, journalists, military, etc - are characterized by anxiety and confusion about Trump, mostly along the lines of ‘how the hell did this guy even get in charge?’ Ask any American living abroad how much time they have to spend and /3
the contortions they must go through to explain Trump and his tweets which routinely show up on foreign newscasts. It’s ridiculous. Trump’s departure will be a relief for us out here, if only because it won’t be so damn exhausting every day trying to explain whatever new /4
