Interesting in the context of the recent UK Harry Miller and Maya Forstater cases. Haven't read the judgment but it sounds like this was purely about misgendering and I expect the same result would apply in the UK courts...
... the key seems to have been that this wasn't part of any wider debate (i.e. he wasn't expressing an opinion) which is different to the decision in Miller.
If anyone has the judgment please too send a link - I have had a brief Google but was being asked for $3.99 and, well, I'm sure it's free somewhere

Just listened to the interview about Assange on @BBCr4today. Almost entirely focussed on him being a bad person (correct) and Wikileaks being an irresponsible org (correct). But the extradition request is troubling for separate reasons - the criminalisation of a publication

It's good to see that people are concerned about bullying and abuse on social media #BeKind. I'm afraid that no amount of concern will have a large impact though, because the algorithm and therefore the newsfeed will continue to privilege outrage and conflict over all else...

The Prime Minister knows the police are not getting their priorities right, he said so in The Daily Telegraph, in February last year. Kate was in court today and the verdict is expected next Friday. So who is driving this?

and the CPS, the police have been subject to regulatory capture by lobby groups, so that misgendering someone is a much more heinous crime, worthy of hours of investigation, than your burglary or assault or even rape. 2/5

There is absolutely no evidence to suggest that Johnson is any closer to agreeing a #Brexit deal that can get through Parliament than Theresa May was. A few key points:
1. The deal (the Withdrawal Agreement and Political Declaration) is exactly the same as it was when it was agreed almost a year ago. Every word, comma, semi-colon, & full stop is the same.
