German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas met with #Iran's chief apologist @JZarif last week during the Munich Security Conference.

Zarif was all smiles.

Why?

First we heard about this:
"Iranian man accused of violating US sanctions & detained in Germany has been freed and has returned to Iran after diplomatic efforts by Tehran, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman said on Monday."

The man flew home with Zarif.

#Iran's IRGC has a long history of kidnapping foreigners & dual nationals to pursue foreign policy objectives.

Here it is quite interesting to see Germany, a NATO member & ally of the U.S., send to Iran a man accused of violating U.S. sanctions.

Another case of appeasement.
