... comes the really hard part: they would have to win the general elections in all of those districts in November, including the 40 seats moderate Dems flipped in red and purple states. So far DSA-style progressives have never done that, even in the 2018

4. Without holding a majority of House Dem seats who can vote for a speaker they would prefer, all that primarying Nancy Pelosi accomplishes is likely losing to her in SF, and even if they somehow managedto win, putting that seat at risk as a GOP pick-up.

There's also this very real math challenge: to win the White House without any "establishment" Dems, whom his base keeps telegraphing they neither want nor need, they need to replace 65 million Clinton voters with voters from the 100 million who never vote, then add 78,000. How?
