The screenshots and phone calls span from October 2018 to September 2019. In a conversation on October 30, 2018, Grenell ally Arthur Schwartz tried to prevent Fairbanks from telling Assange about the operation (months before Grenell’s role was publicly revealed.) 
When Fairbanks tweeted about Grenell’s involvement in Assange’s attest in September of last year, Schwartz called her and urged her to delete the tweet, saying she’d revealed classified information.
Assange’s legal team will use this & other evidence to claim that Grenell’s role corrupted the process early on. They will also argue that Trump explicitly tasked Grenell with making the offer to Ecuador—as Schwartz stated in the recorded call—thereby politicizing the process.
