See you at caucuses!
1. Erin understands the urgency of this moment calls for bold leadership, & that we must chart a new course for the sake of our planet, communities, and children. Erin will use our voices to organize and engage Minnesotans with purpose and joy to make change.
2. As a nurse, Erin has a deep understanding of the healthcare needs in our state. It is urgent that our state choose Minnesota families over corporate profits. That’s why she supports single-payer and will fight to make MinnesotaCare available to all.
3. Erin recognizes that POC and Indigenous Minnesotans are treated differently by our criminal justice system. She supports legalizing recreational marijuana w/ record expungement, restoring the vote for Minnesotans who have served their time for felony convictions.
4. Erin has a history of working across the state to achieve big wins. She is regularly on the picket line with workers and goes out of her way to help other progressive leaders get elected and build our movement.
5. Erin believes Minnesota’s kids deserve the best education in the world. We must urgently and heavily invest in our education system, and we must be willing to ask wealthy Minnesotans to pay more to make it possible.
6. Erin is committed to making large investments in infrastructure to give Minnesotans the resources they need to lead safe, healthy lives, and to move their goods, services, and ideas throughout the state.
7. Erin’s vision for Minnesota is to prioritize equity in everything. She understands that equity isn’t about any one policy, but about how every policy is written and enforced.
8. Erin knows that climate change is the existential threat of our lifetimes, that our natural resources are some of our most precious responsibilities, and that it is the most marginalized among us that are most impacted by environmental injustice.
9. Erin believes that sexual harassment & assault is a pervasive issue, nationally and here in MN at campuses, work, and our communities. She knows we must be proactive w/ comprehensive, age-appropriate K-12 curriculum that teaches personal boundaries, bodily autonomy & respect.
10. Erin will be a fierce advocate in the Senate for workers’ rights, including policies that ensure living wages, safe working conditions, and a voice on the job. She’ll fight to raise the minimum wage to $15/hr indexed to inflation, and paid family leave for every Minnesotan.
