A science driven and agile response at a phenomenal scale: eg public health management. They have updated the patient management guidelines every week for 6 weeks. Issued them and then used the latest version 3)
Using a dynamic technological response eg. using AI to track data and perform contact tracing. 4)
Differentiation: use the most appropriate response for each city or region, whilst keeping in contact across the whole country. 5)
China have changed the course of the outbreak by their actions. What should have been exponential growth has, through the aggressive quarantine methods and interventions used, been slowed down in its tracks. 6)
What will the rest of the world do? Buy more beds, ventilators, repurpose buildings, create isolation wards, convert stadiums. We need a global shift in mind set to a 'readiness preparation' mind set.
