Expect lots of polite eye rolling at a country about to dramatically increase its own trade barriers and arguing it shouldn't be subject to level playing field rules in an EU trade deal also proclaiming itself the leader of defending free trade.

The free trade we aspire to lead appears to be that of 19th century low tariffs not that of 21st century global rules rules and regulations across the whole economy. It is the absence of both self awareness and global reality that so concerns major investors and other countries.
NB with no great methodology the leading defenders of free and fair trade etc are probably New Zealand, Canada, Singapore and Chile. Then of the major players Japan and the EU.
