The 20-year-old student arrived in Kochi on January 24, after which she was in house quarantine. On January 27 she experienced the first symptom for #Coronavirus, sore throat. She then contacted health officials.

The confirmation of #Coronavirus infection came on January 30 and she was shifted to Thrissur Medical College Hospital isolation ward the following day. After 25 days, she was discharged from hospital on February 20 but remained in-home quarantine until March 1.

The 20-year-old is right now continuing her course online via services offered by the university for students across the globe as #Coronavirus threat still prevails in China. She would return when the travel clearance is issued.
