1/8: I handed over papers proving that I am a journalist, a former detainee by the #Syrian intelligence, at risk because of my work, and told him "leave me be."

The #Greek policeman said with sarcasm: "who would read or care about this?” I will not forget this all my life.

2/8: In very difficult circumstances I was arrested in closed camps, written on them UNHCR but run by the army and the police.

I was sent back to #Turkey, where I lost my way home due to the torture that I had been subjected to by European Union special forces.

3/8 "We hope you are fine.We reported the same problem. At every opportunity we intervened with EU leaders to urge them to take on their responsibility of receiving asylum seekers," @hrw said.

"We are sorry to hear this.These…reports are of great concern to[us]." @Refugees said

4/8: @RSF_en replied, but after about two weeks, and they said: "Who are you? We cannot help you. This is outside our specialty."

To date, @pressfreedom / CPJ has not responded!

Shame on these organizations that claim to protect journalists.

5/8 In a desperate attempt, I asked the Greek embassy in Turkey:

- Do you realize the violations faced by asylum seekers?
- Why do you send them back to Turkey?

I told them: "return my phone, papers, and my belongings".

Greek authorities did not answer the mail!

6/8: Yesterday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned the Greek ambassador over violation of Turkish coastal waters, detention of journalists – @aa_arabic & @trtworld said.

7/8 I wonder how the Greek ambassador in Turkey will feel, if his phone is confiscated, if he is beaten and thrown into the frost in closed camps, then sent him back naked to his country?

Just as his authorities do daily with the asylum seekers!

8/8: Six asylum seekers froze to death in the forests of Greece.
All these incidents happened in December 2019.
