In Washington state there was a flu study conducted late last year before the outbreak in Wuhan or testing in the US.

After weeks of trying to get permission to test those samples for COVID-19 they decided to just do so anyway. They found positive samples from the flu study.
“I think it’s unequivocal that there is widespread community transmission in Seattle and they have to take decisive action now,” said Scarpino, who uses mathematical and computational models of infectious diseases transmission. (statnews.com/2020/03/03/was…)
What does this mean for you and I??

1) It means we should act like it is already in your community and so take all the same precautions you would take to avoid getting a cold or the flu!

Learn more about this COVID-19 and ways to protecting you and your family:
3) The knowledge that it may already be in our communities should be reassuring. It means the high death rates everyone keeps using are very skewed.

Think about it. If it really is already in our communuties folks are not dying at the rate everyone is citing.
The people who are at risk are our elderly. Protect them by staying away if you even have a sore scratchy throat.

But if they have diabetes, cardiopulmonary diseases, or hypertension they are at imcreased risk. If they are healthy enough to do so, it may help them...
to have a visit with a relative if at all possible until the viruses passes through.

We should all realize that it is the elderly that are at the highest risk of having the serious symtoms of COVID-19 and dying from it!

So as everyone is scrambling to find hand sanitizer...
... toilet paper, etc., please remember your elderly loved ones and let them know they are not alone!

Also we can not forget about the homeless at this time. Help out by offering coats, soap and water, shoes, etc!
Americans are great at setting our differences aside and rallying around those in need!

All this stress is not healthy for any of us! Random Acts of kindness are always welcome.

For example families without a washer and drier are having to do more laundry to keep their...
...families safe from the virus! So drop by a local laundry mat and give away rolls of quarters.

With schools closing parents are also scrambling for childcare! Are you in a position to help?? Let folks know!

Let’s be there for one another and brighten one another’s day!
