Yale New Haven Hospital is a tertiary medical center, one of the crown jewels of medical care and research, not just in the US, but in the world.

The confirmed CV-19 patient and staff infection here is the worst news of the week, and it’s not even close.

Tertiary medical centers are the one irreplaceable facility that we MUST keep safe in this war against CV-19. Not the White House. Not the Capitol Building. Not even a military base.

If our tertiary medical centers fall, we fall. It’s really as simple as that.
Who’s to blame for what happened at YNHH? It’s not Trump. It’s not the CDC. This is on Gov. Ned Lamont, whose ostrich head-in-sand performance (and that’s what it is, a performance) rivals that of Alabama’s Kay Ivey.

Japan, a country of 130 million, has tested 13,000 people for CV-19. If you don't see that Japan is one of the foremost proponents of #DontTestDontTell, you're just not paying attention.
There is no country in the world where I am more curious to see stats on hospitalizations for viral pneumonia over past 2 months than Japan.

This is complete horseshit. It’s the wishful thinking of politicians who have no sense what “exponential” means.

Exponential is not a “wave”. Exponential is case, case, case ... then cluster, cluster, cluster ... then BOOM.

Right now the US is just starting the cluster phase.
Plus this conveniently ignores the reality of what happened when China abandoned Wuhan and the city fell.

They stopped counting the sick. They stopped counting the dead.

My guess is 500k got sick and 20k died. In one city.
