There is an argument to be made... the corporate leaders of many multinationals are not best positioned to lead their organizations as a new era of nationalist/populist economic policy (deglobalization) takes place.

Structural "Deglobalization" is very real. Happening right now.
Wall St. and Main St. used to work together. However, over 30 years they separated. Wall St. went multinational.

I wrote this about four years ago trying to forecast/explain where we would likely be today.

This is well worth watching because El-Erian was the first well-regarded financial pundit to catch on (Aug 2019) and speak truth to Wall Street in terms panel pundits would understand/accept.
