There was a period THIS MONTH when Trump's framing, abetted by Fox News, made going out in public and taking part in large gatherings a proof of loyalty to Trump.

The final measure of American conservatism: their president came out a month after saying there was little danger, and told the country that never mind, actually 200,000 dead is acceptable losses, and he lost no support from American conservatives.
