Just read the Toby Young piece. For those who don't know how bad things Iin, Britain are we have a well-known journalist saying it's better to let older people die because in the pandemic because he has created an artifical alternative where their deaths mean others live.
He's literally promoting the death of the elderly and infirm. This is eugenics in plane sight. This is the kind of mind the British government value. What a time to be alive #COVID19
One of the many outrageous things about Toby Young deluding himself that he's a voice of rationale reason in is that he argues an economic recession caused by Corona mitigation would lead to more deaths. This is a man who has supported Tory austerity suddenly. Now to make
a cheap political point and probably protect his shares (or something) he is trying to make a poorly thought out utilitarian case. It's not that Young's point are just immoral, they are profoundly stupid and hypocritical cc @toadmeister #COVID19
