Abraham Weintraub, Brazil's Education Minister. What to say about this guy. He doesn't even speak his own language, I'm sure he has an accent in English if he speaks it, but has the racist confidence to mock Chinese pronunciation in Portuguese

He did a post implying China would benefit from COVID-19, switching the "r" and "l" sounds. The PRC embassy responded by calling it, correctly, "extremely racist," and saying it would affect relations between the two countries.
Chinese people (citizens of the world's most-important rising power) usually speak Portuguese as a third or fourth language. Weintraub might be the most widely derided Brazilian minister in the 21st century but somehow seems himself as better. It's just too perfectly Bolsonarista

We must admit that many people in the well-educated middle classes can easily work from home (because we have fake jobs that consist of typing or talking) and have a hard time understanding the reality of people whose lives quickly become precarious, even dangerous, without work
This means that in sum, the media / political class tends to under-appreciate the need to immediately provide assistance to every single person affected by social distancing mandates. That is, the material assistance and the mandates have to start at the exact same time.
If there is a lag (as there is now) the issue can become polarized, with one side tending more towards "safety" and the other towards "the economy" - that binary is totally false, since without safety, the economy collapses anyways. The solution is help - immediate, full help.

Hey this is gonna be great for the Global South
Same script since forever - what happens when the global economy nears crisis? There's a flight to US assets, Washington gets free money (that they choose not to spend on their own people) and all the economies dependent on the vagaries of price and FX are double fucked
It's almost like when the countries of the Third World sought to change the rules of the global economy after World War II and decolonization they had kind of a point. Just bad luck I guess that a certain new hegemonic power crushed so many of those leaders

Trump is already the President. Things are not great if you were put in a concentration camp or will live long enough to experience climate change, but for a lot of the DC establishment, things are mostly fine. Why not wait this out, rather than risk totally changing your party
Keep in mind I'm not actually accusing any specific individuals of feeling this way, or saying I saw people act this way (I'm not paying loads of attention to be honest). I'm just saying there are people in structural positions where feeling this way could make a lot of sense

Ok my dear kings... this is a thread of what you should at least know about women before you decide to get into a relationship or marriage. Contrary to popular opinion, females are not as complicated as we have been made to believe.
My eyes bleed whenever I see guys doing certain things all in the name of love or romance. Please you all should stop embarrassing me. Stop falling my hand please. For more than 10,000 years, women have remained the same so they shouldn't be that difficult.
1) First and foremost, guys you need to understand that guys and girls are so different that we do not even speak the same language or think the same way. There is a reason why we love sports and action but they love reality shows,drama and zee world.

All different races of Mankind are derived from Manu and Shradha. The current Manu is Vaivasvata Manu.
2/ The word Manu literary means man but it is a title given to the progenitor of mankind. According to Hindu Puranas there are many kalpas (One day of Lord Brahma the creator) and each Kalpa has 14 manvantara and each manvatara has one manu. So basically each Kalpa has 14 Manus.
3/ The current manu of the present manvantara is Shraddhadeva or Vaivasvata Manu of this current Kalpa. He is the son of Vivasvat (Probably Surya) and is therefore also known as Manu-vaivasvata.
