Ok, time to talk about what's actually happening with women on the "alt-right" this week...

The women of the alt-right didn't just discover sexism in white nationalism. They've always embraced it.

What's happening is a reckoning between two factions of the far right that can no longer coexist. mic.com/articles/18667…

During the election season, the inception of the alt right built a big tent reactionary movement that introduced traditional white nationalists to an ultimately incompatible new set of allies: the misogynist extremists of the men's rights movement.

The women of white nationalism aren't just identitarians. They're largely Christian fundamentalists and tradcaths who believe in traditional gender roles, return to hearth and home, etc.. They overtly embrace white nationalist patriarchy, and always have.

But the black pill nihilists who came into white nationalism through 4chan and Reddit couldn't give a fuck about traditionalism and intentional communities. They're animated by explicit, virulent hatred of women.

Now, over the past week, the pepes are joining with old manosphere celebrities like Roosh to go on "thot patrol" and shaming the prominent women of the right for their visibility in the movement.

"Of course white nationalists are intolerable misogynists," you might say. But white women have played a vital role in every white supremacist mass movement in history.

White nationalist women can recast hyper-masculine fascistic movements as civil struggles for heart and home. Many come from church communities that raise them on good organizing.
