Early this morning, Indiana Colts player Edwin Jackson was struck & killed by a suspected drunk driver who was unlicensed & ran from scene. Inmate booking records show the driver, Alex Cabrera Gonsales, is from Mexico w/an ICE detainer on him.

Any system that allows facilities like this to exist is irredeemably broken.

Intense clashes reported between Kurdish pishmarga forces & the #IRGC in Marivan, NW #Iran, early Saturday morning.
Initials reports indicate at least 19 IRGC members killed in clashes that lasted two hours, from 2 to 4 am local time.

 Clashes took place in villages in the Neyshakash & Bikara areas close to Marivan.
Pishmarga forces targeted the Dori base with RPGs.
IRGC reinforcements are dispatched from Sanandaj & Marivan, equipped with semi-heavy weapons & armored vehicles.

 IRGC helicopters are patrolling the area.
The area is being described as a war zone by sources & IRGC units are on high alert.
