1. The West Virginia trip by the President was an interesting show. He discarded his talking points on tax cuts and tax reform and instead went off the cuff about illegal immigration, border security, democrat obstruction, crime etc. The GOPE were very upset in the media. Why?
2. The GOPE doesn't want to talk about those things. They want to run on tax cuts in the midterms and an economic message. Why? It's about mandates. You see if the midterms are about illegal immigration and the GOP wins that means they will be forced to deal with it.
3. This is how the elites work. They shape the narrative. Allowing some things to be talked about and disallowing others. That way, no matter who wins the elections nothing of consequence changes. Trump went off script. This is what terrifies the elites.
4. His comments were not just off-script but they were persuasive. He laid out the case against the current immigration laws, the current enforcement at the border and the current reasons why both are the way they are. It was a winning message.
5. So the fake media attacked him for going off script. Saying he was diluting his message on tax cuts. That they had to report on his remarks not on tax cuts. Blah, Blah, Blah. However, the people are capable of hearing both messages and most who saw the show did.
6. The GOPE and the dems will try to make the midterms local elections. They will try to control the debate on the issues. They will continue to try to keep illegal immigration in the shadows. Some might try to run on Trump hate in the deep blue districts but the majority won't
7. Trump and MAGA GOP will try to make the midterms a national race on the important issues being stonewalled by both the DEMS and the GOPE (the uniparty)
