They’re sitting at the border with nowhere to go, begging for our help. International law and human decency require that the United States hear asylum claims. They’re presenting themselves peacefully, in full compliance with the law, and we’re violating that law by ignoring them.

You shouldn’t need Bible verses to be a decent human being.

But if that’s what it takes, go find Jesus. Because I’m tired of being led by men of faith who lack basic compassion.

If God knocked on the door of the Republican Party in 2018 and asked for help, they’d probably shoot him.

Then they’d find video of the cleansing of the Temple and use it to prove He was a thug with an anger problem and they were only standing their ground.
