1. Recently, after finally being allowed by the DOJ to view the "EC," (electronic communication), we learned from Devin Nunes that the investigation of the Trump campaign was started with "NO official intelligence." However, there were two things redacted.
"A Justice Department official told Fox News that the memo's redactions had been "narrowly tailored to protect the name of a foreign country and the name of a foreign agent... "
We now now what was so secretive and being kept quite on the Hill. Nunes had issued a classified subpoena to the DOJ requesting information.
"DOJ was delivered a classified House Intel Committee letter & then a subpoena on Monday demanding docs related to a new line of inquiry about the FBI's Trump investigation. " Wall Street Journal May 4th
How much of this is realistic & how much is hyperbole, we don't yet know but you would think "individual" is correct.
"a U.S. citizen who has provided intelligence to the CIA and FBI."
If correct, that would eliminate several names from the list of usual suspect. Misfud, Steele, Downer, all eliminated. I also don't think Contreras fits the language of the DOJ letter.
"FBI had source inside Trump team, claims Fusion GPS founder"
See statement from Devin Nunes after meeting with DOJ to discuss classified subpoena.
I noticed the link in point #17, the article describing Glen Simpson's testimony, is not working, so I will include it here.
