A NEW LINE OF INQUIRY
1. Recently, after finally being allowed by the DOJ to view the "EC," (electronic communication), we learned from Devin Nunes that the investigation of the Trump campaign was started with "NO official intelligence." However, there were two things redacted.

2. Here is the video of Nunes' interview with @MariaBartiromo.

3. On April 11, when Nunes viewed the EC, FOX News published the following article with this quote:
"A Justice Department official told Fox News that the memo's redactions had been "narrowly tailored to protect the name of a foreign country and the name of a foreign agent... "

5. While most focused on the "no official intelligence" aspect of this interview, I was curious about the redactions. What persons name and what country were redacted ? There has been much speculation: Steele & U.K. ? Downer & AUS? Hannigan & U.K. etc..

6. As with most news stories these days, these questions were soon forgotten, downed out by the latest "explosive" fake news story of the day. Forgotten that is, until May 2nd, when listening to the Hannity radio show. I heard @SaraCarterDC say something very interesting.

7. Hannity's radio show from May 2nd. 46:18 mark. Sean says," I keep hearing that there is blockbuster information, within the latest request, with a deadline of Thursday, from Devin Nunes, specifically as relates to Rosenstein. What do we know, Sara?"

8. Sara says,"we're waiting. everybody on the Hill has been very quiet about what is expected. Thursday is the deadline, and I think R. Rosenstein is going to have a LOT of explaining to do when it comes out. There is a lot of documentation that is still out there..."

9. ".. not only as relates to Rosentien but what happened inside the FBI. "

We now now what was so secretive and being kept quite on the Hill. Nunes had issued a classified subpoena to the DOJ requesting information.

10. We had no clue as to what Nunes was pursuing until the DOJ sent this response letter. Some things of interest in the letter were comments surrounding the identity of the person(s) in whom Nunes is interested. A list: "an individual"...

11.... "Disclosure of such request could risk severe consequences in including loss of life." "Damage to relationships with valued international partners."

How much of this is realistic & how much is hyperbole, we don't yet know but you would think "individual" is correct.

13. The speculation begins: Rudolph Contreras, the FISC judge. Christopher Steele ? Misfud? Stefen Halper? Downer? Rebecca Peters? All seemed likely candidates until the Wapo published this story on May 9th

14. From the article:

"a U.S. citizen who has provided intelligence to the CIA and FBI."

If correct, that would eliminate several names from the list of usual suspect. Misfud, Steele, Downer, all eliminated. I also don't think Contreras fits the language of the DOJ letter.

15. So, what are we let with? Halper & Peters, unless...... unless there is some other unknown entity that has remained a secret. These *could* be the names but they would not fit the "explosive" rhetoric being used by insiders to describe this line of inquiry.

16. Today a new theory began. What if......Just what if.... this person with CIA, & FBI ties, who is an american citizen, was a plant on the Trump Team? Now that would be explosive and would, as @SaraCarterDC said, cause Rosenstien to do a LOT of explaining. Think about this 👇

18. If they did have a plant on the Trump Team, and still haven't found anything after all this time, why in the wold has Rosenstein allowed the investigation to go on this long? This is mere speculation. It could still be some of the names aforementioned. We shall see.

19. Nunes & Trey Gowdy have met with DOJ officals in a classified setting to be briefed on the information being requested. At this time we are awaiting a statement from Nunes. Let's see if what he says gives credence to either of the theories I have put forth in this thread.
