(2) I am a big supporter of Gina Haspel for CIA Director. She's extremely well qualified for the role and her statements so far in confirmation hearings have been excellent. The left are being their usual deranged selves and should be ignored as much as possible.

(4) O'Brien leans to the right wing but I find her views too anti-government for me support. In this video she is suspicious of the CIA and calls Haspel "a little bit passive-aggressive," but IMO this is based on a misreading of one exchange at the start of the video.
(5) O'Brien falsely attributes Haspel's body language as being due to a personal issue, but she didn't care who the other party was. The guy who initially "ignored" Haspel was committee ranking member, Democrat Mark Warner. I'd have been pissy with him if I were Haspel, too.
(6) This is an example of an analyst skipping over crucial details because they don't fit the desired narrative. That's something we should strive to avoid. It's not hard to find photos & details online, such as using senate.gov to see who the Senators are.
(7) When I watched the O'Brien video and heard her dissing my gal Gina, I wanted to do my own analysis in response. That's a good thing... it's how ideas used to be exchanged and debated, before everything went pear-shaped in our culture.

(8) The context of this hearing is that Republicans are trying to protect America from terrorists, and Democrats are trying to stop us. There is literally a war on. We (US & her allies) were attacked on 9/11/01 and the global war on terrorism began. There is a service medal:
(9) There is a GWOT medal ribbon and several memorials. A national GWOT memorial is finally being planned. For almost 18 years, America has been divided between those who "get it" and those who don't. We are at war. Our warfighters should not be hampered by the lies of the Left.
(10) Haspel will have met with Sen Warner before the hearing, at least once. It would be rude for the ranking member or chairman to openly ignore the nominee BUT he probably intended to approach Haspel the way he did so as not to lean in front of Sen Evan Bayh, to her left.
(11) Haspel invited as her main supporters a bipartisan combo of Sen Bayh (D-OH) & Sen Clyde Chambliss (R-AL). Good. The guy behind Warner (D-VA) is Chairman Richard Burr (R-NC). Warner is the Vice Chairman bc it's a Select Committee not a standing one with a "ranking member."
(12) The snippets of Haspel's responses that we hear in the video were great. She refers to the long & now resolved national debate on enhanced interrogation. That's how such matters should be resolved: by public debate & voting in elections. Not by recycled 2003 Dem talking pts.
(13) With Haspel there is no there, there. Democrats are looking for someone to blame for historic events that have been long resolved. You couldn't ask for a more moral, considered, empathetic & effective person to succeed Pompeo at the CIA.
(14) Since the majority of available Haspel photos are designed to be disparaging, here are some "normal" looking ones I've gathered. I don't use the MSM's attack-photos. Yes, even supposedly "news" pix are weaponized against neutral career officials if this admin nominates them.
(15) I also gathered some lighter photos, for meme fodder. If the Deputy Director of the CIA is taking notes about you... be afraid. (Joking, OBVIOUSLY you credulous ingrates).

(18) I enjoyed this photo bc Haspel is smiling while crooked Feinstein isn't. Haspel seems totally relaxed. F is annoyed by Dem attacks sliding off a nominee like she's Teflon-coated. 33 years in the CIA toughens a person. 50 years in the Democrat party would fry your brain.
