2) Blocklists, popularized by William Pizzanipples Legate, is basically software that automatically blocks larges segments of Twitter profiles.

4) For example, SJW comic pros have been using blocklists to block all followers of accounts like @DiversityAndCmx, @POTUSThump, etc.
5) These blocklists all have massive overlaps in what names are on them, obviously. As a result, when twitter puts in an algorithm to automatically shadowban people based on how many people block them....
6) BOOM. One button click to activate their new algorithm, and suddenly the entirety of the conservative twittersphere is blacklisted by their new algorithm.
7) "Oh, all of these thousands of people block all these accounts, they must be troublemakers!" No, @TwitterSupport, these fucking blocklists have spread across thousands of users THAT WE HAVE NEVER EVEN INTERACTED WITH.
