If we leave the EU with JUST a Free Trade deal, then WITHIN EUROPE, UK business will be at a competitive disadvantage against businesses from EU Single Market countries. That's just fact.
Disagreeing with that means you haven't bothered to find out what Single Market is in two years.
Now once you've accepted that it screws our ability to compete in Europe, the obvious next question is, "Can we make up for that by increasing our competitive edge outside Europe?"
