This is a small thread about "The handwritten notes exposing what Fusion GPS told DOJ about Trump" by John Solomon for The Hill.

The first thing that stood out was that the meeting between Bruce Ohr and Glenn Simpson at the Washington coffee shop is now listed as taking place on December 10, 2016.

According to Bryan York's article for The Washington Examiner, the Washington coffee shop meeting was meant to have happened on December 9, 2016.

Simpson acknowledged that information developed by Christopher Steele did not originate from Moscow, but instead from a former Russian intelligence officer residing in the United States.

I noted yesterday, by coincidence, that some of Christopher Steele's sources came from oligarchs whom resided in the west.

It has also been noted that Christopher Steele paid intermediaries who then paid sources for information.

Not only that, but Christopher Steele's sources started to disappear from late July onward, around the time Crossfire Hurricane started to open.

It is stated that Glenn Simpson asked Christopher Steele to contact Mother Jones reporter David Corn, which led to the October 31, 2016 article which eventually led to Steele's "dismissal" (even though they continued using him).

Glenn Simpson has ordered Christopher Steele to meet with reporters previously, having sent Steele to meet with The New York Times, The Washington Post, Yahoo! News, The New Yorker and CNN in September 2016.

In fact, Glenn Simpson paid $168,000.00 to Christopher Steele to meet with the journalists.

Simpson and Bruce Ohr also spoke about two stories - the Alfa Bank server and Maria Butina and the National Rifle Association.

The Alfa Bank server story first hit on October 31, 2016, written by Franklin Foer.

As for the Maria Butina story, Glenn Simpson sent a ThinkProgress article about it to Nellie Ohr on December 11, 2016, either one or two days after meeting Bruce.

The article "Why has the NRA been cozying up to Russia?" was written by Josh Israel for ThinkProgress on November 23, 2016.

Simpson then suggests to Bruce Ohr that the back channel between Trump and Moscow changed hands between three people - Paul Manafort, Carter Page and then Michael Cohen.

thehill.com/hilltv/rising/…
This is interesting because Vox suggested that there were three people being watched by Brennan's Working Group: Paul Manafort, Roger Stone and Carter Page. No mention of Michael Cohen.

If you were to take the Louise Mensch route, then the four people of interest were: Donald Trump, Carter Page, Paul Manafort and Boris Epshteyn.

If you were to follow the steps of Michael Morrell, then the four people of interest were: Donald Trump, Paul Manafort, Roger Stone and Paul Manafort.

"I have never been to Prague in my life."
According to Bruce's notes, however, it is suggested guilt by association, due to Cohen's wife and his in-laws.

Cohen's wife's family ties into the Cohen taxi story.

"It was through his wife's family that Mr. Cohen would be introduced to the taxi business, which would ultimately allow him to pull in millions of dollars."

So final notes.

Christopher Steele used intermediaries in Moscow by subcontracting the investigation.

There were a total of six sources used for the dossier, one of whom is redacted (Source E).

The Cody Shearer memo cited a source in Russia's FSB.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation also asked Steele to reveal how he compiled his reports and sources in September 2016 when he visited Rome, Italy. They asked for future copies in this moment.

Sergei Millian himself was not spoken to by Christopher Steele, but by somebody who was secretly reporting to Steele. Another intermediary.

It is clear from Glenn Simpson's conversation with Bruce Ohr that SOURCE B is the important source - "A former top level Russian intelligence officer still active in the Kremlin".

Christopher Steele, however, has denied that Oleg Erovinkin - a man close to Igor Sechin who died on December 26, 2016 - was Source B.
