Less traffic on the word "Skripal" than you might think today, given the news.

Per @Sysomos, around 20k mentions.
Most of the 10 most-retweeted posts are breaking news coverage from, inter alia, @AP and @MarkUrban01.

Honourable mention to @RVAWonk, too.
Couple of outliers here: Brian Krassenstein, who's a significant voice among the Trump opposition, and Craig Murray, who's a significant voice in the anti-UK / pro-Kremlin community.
Further down the list, a few Kremlin accounts (the embassy is an outlier, its post preceded the announcement), news outlets, and @20committee.

Ha, looks like I really pissed off the Kremlin "information weapon" (to quote its own editor-in-chief).

They hate it when someone reveals how they work by citing actual evidence.
Looks like this is what triggered them. @thetimes on the role of Sputnik's parent company, which is to "secure the interests of the Russian Federation in the information sphere."

Sputnik claims that doesn't apply to them. Seriously.

Here's @TwitterSafety's take on it: a small number of assets, possibly state-linked.

15 accounts so far, low follower numbers, engaged in coordinated platform manipulation.

And here's @fbnewsroom: six accounts, nine pages. Taken down for coordinated inauthentic behaviour, i.e. a network of counterfeit accounts.

BREAKING: UK telecoms regulator @Ofcom finds Kremlin broadcaster RT guilty of violating the rules on due impartiality seven times in six weeks, post-Salisbury.

"Serious failure of compliance." Sanction being considered.

For context, RT violated the rules on due impartiality and due accuracy with 10 programmes between 2014 and 16, so 7 in 6 weeks is a major escalation.

Violations concerned reporting on Ukraine, Crimea, Turkey and Syria.
