How many other members of government, Democrat or Republican, can tout such an enormous increase in personal wealth over the span of 8 years? I know a lot of them from both parties increase their wealth by 5 times or more after about ten years in Washington.
Public service is not about expanding your personal wealth, but a lot of them do it in DC in a short span of time. Public service used to be about sacrifice to serve your fellow citizens & improve the country. Some of these are the same politicians preaching income inequality.
