Actually our respective social structures tend to be more complex- for some of us that includes matrilineal foundations and genuinely egalitarian systems. But you’d have to want to know about #BeingMicronesian, versus being deliberately obtuse, to learn these things.
And let’s not forget this video, which featured Pati and Anuhea and the “Infamous Shhhhhhhhh” followed by laughter... Culture Crew and Pati went on to apologize sincerely. I only ever saw some cit&paste responses from Anuhea. 🤷🏽♀️ #BeingMicronesian

I was in the ICU recovering from having my tumor-riddled mandible replaced with my fibula when news of this got big, and TBH it sucked. But I guess that’s just part of #BeingMicronesian, right? And let’s not even bring up the stans who came for us... 😔
