Rod Rosenstein suggested last year that he secretly record Trump to expose "chaos" consuming the administration & discussed recruiting cabinet members to invoke the #25thAmendment.

Will Trump use this as an excuse to fire Rosenstein⁉️

Rosenstein made his remarks about the #25thAmendment & secretly recording Trump in meetings & conversations w/other DOJ & FBI officials. Several people (briefed either on the events themselves or on memos written by FBI officials, including McCabe) described the episodes.🤨
Rosenstein reportedly told McCabe that he might be able to persuade Jeff Sessions & John Kelly to mount an effort to invoke the #25thAmendment.

All of these incidents allegedly occurred around the time that @Comey was fired. Rosenstein was very distressed & felt he was used.🤔
Rosenstein “The @nytimes story is inaccurate & factually incorrect. I will not further comment on a story based on anonymous sources who are obviously biased...& advancing their own personal agenda...Based on my personal dealings...there is no basis to invoke the #25thAmendment.”
Rosenstein reportedly made these suggestions in Spring'17 when Trump fired @Comey & then gave classified intel to #Russians🇷🇺in the Oval Office, plus reports surfaced about Trump asking Comey to pledge "loyalty" & end the investigation of Misha🇷🇺Flynn.

Was it Rosenstein who wrote the anonymous op-ed published earlier this month in the NYTimes?🤔

This latest bombshell may give Trump the ammunition he wanted to fire Rosenstein.😳

However, even *if* Trump fires Rosenstein, Mueller will remain in place. Plus the #TrumpRussia🇷🇺investigation involves MANY parts of DOJ (e.g., SDNY), not just Mueller/Rosenstein.😎
We know Trump will become even more erratic, as the #TrumpRussia🇷🇺investigation gets closer to Trump's inner circle & Trump *himself*.

Regardless of what happens w/Rosenstein, I don't see Trump *ever* outmaneuvering Mueller & the rest of the patriotic heroes in DOJ/FBI/USIC.😎
Cue up the crazy "Deep State" conspiracists and the Q-nutjobs, who will go bonkers over this latest report.🙄
