Does it really matter what @realDonaldTrump says? On Election Night, he gave the unity speech every POTUS-elect gives hours after it was clear his opponent was defeated. CNN & others beat him up for coming out before she conceded an obviously lost race. Lost in it all? The words.
On Inauguration Day, he gave a speech after which respondents told us they had waited their entire lives for a president to give an "Us (We the People) vs. Them (Corrupt Status Quo)" inaugural address. Chris Matthews called it "Hitlarian." So, again... would anything satisfy? No.
Speaking of @MSNBC ... The day after Election Day, an employee called @LauraBaris to call out. Why? B/C she thought Donald Trump would deport her. She was terrified. Folks, she's a black U.S. citizen! She said she heard it on "the news." No doubt she heard lunatic guest rantings.
The woman watches MSNBC religiously & only. That's not good no matter what side you come down on. But thinking back to their hysterical pre-election coverage, it's not difficult to see how she came to believe something so ridiculous. Not at all. Guests often are not corrected.
