Not to put too fine a point on it, per AP’s report, the Saudi Embassy in the United States urged a Virginia mother to leave the country because her daughters had “applied for asylum” here, according to her. A day later her daughters’ bodies were found taped together a river.
“Saudi Arabia’s Consulate General in New York said in a statement that it had “appointed an attorney to follow the case closely.””
