/I just saw the closing "caravan" ad from Trump on the teevee and I just want to say that it makes him and the Republicans look crazy. Crazy. Perhaps it is motivating a few folks but for many reasonable people the ad will raise fears about the President's fitness for office.
/Want to repeat that I don't think Trump's decision to close with the caravan is easy to understand through a political lens, particularly after escalating right wing violence, by his own admission, was derailing his end game strategy.
/Tension in "caravan vs economy" found in the Trump ad with suburban mom and violin playing daughter which got drown out by the President's own unhinged rants, mobilization at the border.
/The President's decision to close with caravan - after the spate of scary violence which broke out in America - deserves far greater scrutiny. It made his party look menacing, dangerous and cut against other clearly articulated approaches by his own campaign. Why?
/Want to go on record saying that what worries me abt how the President closed is that it didn't seem designed to win the election, but more about summoning dark forces to protect him as his own personal reckoning nears. Could signal very challenging days ahead for the nation.
