1. Some short knows for those smart people in the deep weeds of politics. The most important 'political' (elected) person for Trump's confrontation of corruption in DC is now back to the beginning: @SenRonJohnson
2. Few people remember, fewer even know, that it was Johnson’s committee effort that brought out the Lisa Page and Peter Strzok text messages. Lots of other committees began exploring DOJ and FBI misconduct, but it was Johnson who started the sunlight back in July/Aug of 2017.
3. Unfortunately, very few were paying attention two months ago when Johnson again confronted FBI Director Christopher Wray.

[After the June 2017 publication of the IG report on FBI bias conduct, it was clear that Wray was running cover for the administrative state.]
4. A video exchange between Chairman Johnson & Director Wray begins around 02:15:00 (nearly 2.5 hours into the hearing). Likely few will have watched this because, like reading the 600 pages of Page/Strzok text messages, it takes granular exploration to fully understand.
5. Everyone had gone home. Almost everyone had left the chamber. It's essentially just Chairman Johnson and Chris Wray. Here's the video. [Prompted to 02:15:00 - Just hit play] WATCH:

6. Notice how Wray deflects questions about current documentary requests behind the shield of the SC Robert Mueller investigation. There’s the frustrating part for Senator Johnson and those of us who completely accept this shield is by design. THIS is the purpose of Mueller.
7. In an earlier outline of the hearing, I break the details within the questioning down for consideration. Presented here back in early October. theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/10/int…
8. The second note about the current status of corruption confrontation surrounds Matthew G. Whitaker, Chief of Staff to Attorney General Jeff Sessions at the Department of Justice, now appointed *ACTING AG*.
9. Matthew G Whitaker is essentially a mirror, a protege', of Senator Chuck Grassley (who is retiring), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Whitaker and Grassley hold almost identical views, tone, disposition and perspective on DOJ issues.
