A couple points and as always think as you will.

1) the midterms were in not as bad for the GOP as the uniparty/media expected.

2) Many of those that lost or retired were at the least anti-Trump. Many were full nevertrumpers.
3) Now much has been made about all retirements. But if you look at the avg. It was an avg year. 23 GOP house members retired, 3 gop senators. Which is avg.

4) The media lumped the 13 who ran for higher office in with the total to give a certain impression. Ask yourself why.
5) Final counts aren't available yet but it appears the Dems will have about a 30 seat majority. This is less than what the GOP had last year and if Pelosi is to win the speaker slot it may take Trump's help. (Don't discount this)
6) In the Senate, as of now it appears that the gop will be +3 . Flipping FL, MO, ND, and IN while losing NV and AZ. This was really unexpected by the uniparty/media. As Kavanaugh showed they really expected up to that point to flip the Senate to the Dem side.
7) Now, I didn't follow every campaign, but from what I've been able to research those that lost like McSally and numerous Gop house incumbents ran at best lackluster campaigns and even with the lackluster campaigns most of those lost races were much closer than expected.
8) Some even had to cheat to win from all accounts.

9) So, from all available evidence, facts and figures. It's clear that Trump blunted the uniparty's schemes with his rallies. I shudder to think what could have been if Trump didn't campaign.
10) It's also clear, at least to me, that many of those who retired or ran lackluster campaigns did so at the uniparty's urging or knowing that the "fix" was in. There was honest surprise and disbelief that Trump did so well in the mid terms.
11) The after action by the media pushing the narrative of "muh we are all doomed" backs up this thought. There was a blue wave it was matched by Trump's wave. I've called this possiblity, destructive interference, after the physics term used to describe wave interaction.
12) The media and uniparty were honestly shocked and dismayed at the disappointing results of the mid terms. They still are. They believed that the Trump base was a small minority. They have been disabused of that stupid notion.
13) They really thought that Trump's base was a small minority. The thinking went that all they had to do was mobilize their base, open up battle ground districts/states via retirements and run lackluster campaigns and they would create a landslide win that would end Trump.
14) They were wrong.

15) Not just slightly wrong completely wrong.

16) They were shown beyond a doubt that The Trump coalition is not a small majority and if not for a couple votes( ~30,000 total out of +100 million) they would still not have the House.
17) The expected landslide became a whimper. They are shook. The only unexpected thing that occurred that has helped the uniparty is the full fledged battered conservative syndrome displayed after the results. The media used that to great effect to cover their stunning defeat.
18) As more results roll in and the "muh we are all doomed" crowd stops having the vapors, I think more and more people will understand what a great victory Trump had in the mid terms.
19) Of course the media, uniparty and those pushing fear will never tell you of this victory but it's still there waiting for you to discover on your own.
*correction*
In point 16. Should read not a small minority. Instead of small majority.
