The Guardian’s latest attack on #JulianAssange was not only a fallacious smear, it represented a desperate attempt on behalf of the British intelligence community to conflate the pending US charges against the journalist with #Russiagate.
And because, as @ggreenwald has noted, it forces neoliberal centrists posing as Democrats with Trump Derangement Syndrome (too many to tag) to confront supporting the Trump administration's prosecution of Assange for publishing evidence of Bush-era war crimes, and #Vault7.
