San Francisco is at a tipping point and city leaders and CEOs better start acting
You can't have restaurants and schools and auto repair clinics and retail stores if the people who work at those places can't afford to live w/in 2 hrs of city.
The key more than any other thing is housing. We need more housing, especially more truly affordable (not just below market) housing.
It's hard to pass a restaurant these days that doesn't have a help wanted sign. We've raised the minimum wage. We have, often, a health-care surcharge. But there's no places to rent at even those higher wages.
