A reminder of the very obvious:

Usually innocent people don't need their friends to show "guts" by *refusing* to testify about them -- they just want their friends *to testify truthfully* about them.
When you have a strong defense in a trial, you can fight to ADD MORE WITNESSES -- people to testify to your alibi, to your character, to all sorts of asserted truths that help your case.
But Trump is touting Roger Stone, who was exposed last week by *his own associate* Jerome Corsi for lying to Congress.

Corsi says he went to the Mueller grand jury, and told them "the truth" about a lie he and Stone told Congress. Literally.
