💰 A THREAD On Creating Winning Video Ads 💰
Video ads do better than picture ads for 2 reasons

1. Videos are more engaging. You’ll get a lot of likes and shares so FB rewards you by showing the ad to more eyeballs at the same cost

2. The customer sees another person using the product and they imagine themselves using it
For this example I’m going to use this DIY Kale Mask from Etsy.

Our target customer is women 30+ that want to look younger.

Step 1. Find a girl and film her putting on the mask. iPhone X camera will work fine. Ask your mom, sister, GF, or go on Fiverr if you can’t find anyone
Montage the clip into a 1 minute video. This can easily be done on iMovie or, again, you can find someone on Fiverr to do it for you.

Next up we have to write the copy for the video
1. Call out your target customer
2. Educate with Benefits
3. Instructions
4. Call to Action
The first line calls out your target customer.

“This brand new Kale Mask is perfect for women who want a smoother, more youthful complexion”

If a woman wants to look younger, chances are she’ll keep watching out of curiosity
Now it’s time to educate them.

“Did you know that kale is loaded with antioxidants and Vitamin A that promotes more collagen production?”

“Collagen is the protein in your body responsible for keeping your skin tight and wrinkle-Free”
Next talk about the benefits

“We’ve combined the powers of Kale & Micro-Algae to restore and rejuvenate your skin”

“It’s designed to fight wrinkles and fine lines, while giving your skin its elasticity back”
More benefits: “This Mask is also loaded with green tea extract to help even out your skin tone and get rid of sun spots”

Instructions - “Simply mix with water and apply evenly over your face. Leave on for 20 minutes and wash off with warm water”
Call to action - give them a reason to buy today.

“When you buy today, get a 2nd one Free!”
“Order today to get free shipping”
Etc, etc.....
