I was very disappointed with the last spending bill , but I let it go because I figured Trump was just trying to be a team player with the establishment politicians on both sides. But I was not going to be as forgiving if we got screwed on the next one.

I am acutely aware that the President is not a king, he has to work with the Senate and Congress, however he does have veto power .

Most reasonable people understood that the wall would not be built immediately, however on the first 2 spending bills, President Trump gave the uniparty everything they wanted but he got very little for wall and the money had strict guidelines as to how it must be spent.
It is do or die time, tomorrow is not guaranteed. We can't keep kicking the can down the road. A Democrat run congress will begin working in a few weeks and our Senate Majority is small. If we don't get significant wall money now, we may never get it.
The President has asked for 5 billion dollars . That is significantly less than what it will take to build the wall . It is about 1/5 but it is something and in the current political climate it would be a huge win for us.
Last time he got 1.6 billion and there are already rumors swirling that he won't get the 5 billion he asked for but closer to the same he got last time. That. Is. Not. Acceptable. Anything less than what he is asking for is him caving to the establishment again.
I love President Trump and have no regrets voting for him, having said that, love is not just patting someone on the back. Sometimes, a kick in the behind is also a show of love.
In closing, Dear President @realDonaldTrump , do not settle for anything less than what you requested. If the uniparty will not give you the 5 billion for the wall, SHUT ! IT ! DOWN! #MAGA
