Case #1, lets say, you started a long thread like this one and you want to edit the top one, you are stuck, because if you delete the top one, the whole thread has to be re-typed #fail cc @jack @TwitterSupport @sriramk /2
If your intention is to have a time stamp, you can still allow edit and internally create a new tweet or thread which will be a win-win...good user experience and audit in tact, wdyt? cc @sriramk @jack @TwitterSupport /3
