1) #BBCQT and the tide turning
Many Remainers have watched Question Time through their hands or not watched at all as this Leave stronghold reinforced the simple messages of Brexiters

It was very disheartening, but not any more
2) Week after week we had the right wing agitator "columnists" like Oakeshott, HartleyBrewer and others come on & shout betrayal, will of the people, Remoaners whilst the crowd cheered them on

"why can't we just leave?" the audience cried to rapturous applause

Until 6 weeks ago
3) occasionally a brave audience member or panelist would say "hang on, this Brexit thing isn't going that well" before being shouted down.

The tide has now massively shifted. The audiences have pivoted & no one is confidently supporting Brexit
4) The Oakeshotts call out their pro brexit soundbites...to silence from the audience
When the Tory MPs lay out their Brexit position the audience groan & shake their heads
When the Labour MPs lay out *their* policy, the audience just laugh at them
5) the only consistent message now is support for a #PeoplesVote, it gets the loudest applause & greatest support

Brexit is getting increasingly unpopular as are the 2 major parties (tonight Fiona Bruce gestured to the audience in disbelief as both Thornberry & Cleverly spoke)
6) The Tory party should really take note. Supporting a deal that is so obviously unpopular just makes them look ridiculous.

Lying about May's deal and all the things it doesn't actually deliver just smashes the government's integrity
7) But Labour should really be concerned
Tonight Emily Thornberry did her best attempt to come across as genuine & honest, saying "Labour offer hope", and got laughed at, because she'd just laid out the unicorn Labour Brexit position
8) in any case, if #BBCQT is a weather vane it's very interesting to see how the wind has changed, and how #Brexit is increasingly been marginalised
