As I grow older, the more I realize that my time with my parents will soon be ended.
My dad is nearly 70. My mom is nearly 60.
The lifespan in my family is 80-90.
At most, I only have 20 years left.
Call me weird, but I've learned how to grieve when the time come. But I still haven't figured out how to deal with. Let alone to cope.
I just don't know how.
I have to be ready anytime now. I'm still their kid anyway. I can imagine how it's like to lose a parent. Or both. I can. But, I don't think I can deal with it. Not after their struggles to raise me. I've seen them hellbent taking care of my wellbeing.
The idea of losing them is frightening me. A lot. I just can't imagine when it happen.
And to make it worse, I still haven't done any single thing to make them happy and proud.
