Well, yeah. That’s been the end game all along. The countries hit hardest by the disinformation crises have been NATO allies and their trading partners.
I suspected that's what was going on back even when Brexit was happening. What's better to keep countries preoccupied than internal crises? What's the best way to spark internal crises than to just rip open barely-healed sociopolitical wounds?
That's hybrid war and how it works, and it certainly does work. So what does the United States do in response? Fucks up journalism even more. Nice work all around folks
I mean back when Brexit was starting to happen because God knows it's been dragging on and on. Just hold a second vote and move on. Don't buy in, quit being played by the Kremlin and show some unity for a change, you utter pelicans
You know, I haven't been back to the UK in many years but I spent a significant part of my early life there and still have a huge swatch of family living there and in the EU, so I consider it home as well. I know where we came from and what we were, and I remember the EU debates
The EU has made a huge positive difference in the welfare of a country that needed it and it has changed the lives of Britain's younger people for the far better. You think all those ambitious young people want to move back to a shitty, isolated little island from the mainland?
Open your arms, Britons, and become what I know you can be. Shed the Little Englander robes and take your place in the world - where we all belong.

Plus don't you remember what happened last time there were a bunch of young men with no jobs running around the UK in packs?
I remember we had to throw our garbage on the sidewalk where I lived. We had no trash cans anywhere. Anyone remember why? It wasn't austerity.
And then there's the United States. I've said plenty about it, but again -- how do you think this disinformation crisis took hold? By playing along ethnic tensions. In other words, white Americans' failure to adapt to a changing world plus our inability as a country to make
amends for what we have done to so many people simply because they were considered "Other." Well, the time for that is over. We, too, have to embrace the world but more importantly, we have to stamp out the white supremacist mindset in this country. It's not just empty platitudes
and it's not just a feelgood "hug it out" moment. It is a matter of national security. We have to stop normalizing white supremacy in this country, for the basic human rights and dignity of so many people who are suffering, and also because the paranoia that all abusers feel is
being turned into policy. How many times have you heard white supremacists bitch about "becoming the minority" as though they think that's a bad thing? That's because they know how they themselves treat "the minorities." They're absolutely terrified. Call them out. Don't let them
get away with it, because that will just create more cracks in our society for the disinfo to get in. Do you really want to let those assholes win? We need national unity; not conformity, as the racists demand, but unity. That is why we have to all get our shit together, because
the end game is to destabilize the world, just so that a new authoritarian axis of power can form and expand. Why the fuck would we let those assholes do anything? We're Americans. We hate being told what to do.
And it's all just to feed the ego of a bunch of dipshits who think they are owed something either money, sex, or power. And they're lying to us to keep hold of what they've got and distract us so they can grab more. And it's ours. So let's take it back and quit fucking around.
Unless you're a defender of authoritarianism, in which case you can fuck right off and go find some steel-toed boots to lick. But watch out, because eventually it'll be your face that's kicked too. Those of us speaking out now know this, and eventually you will, too.
Can't you see what's happening? Look around. As everyone turns in on themselves, authoritarians help themselves to even more of the wealth and power that we the people own by right.

Demand transparency, push your elected officials more, support your local newsrooms. Oh yeah,
by the way, journalism works. That's exactly why so many people are working so hard to discredit it. They're personally benefiting from doing so, whether they're actually in charge or any one of those wormy little lackeys that all authoritarians attract.
So invest in journalism if you have the means and stick to tried and true sources you know are credible.
Newsrooms: Invest in journalists and quit "pivoting to video," that was based on bullshit metrics.
And keep pushing your elected officials. Some of them still do their jobs.
And look at the countries that have really been beaten up by the "fake news" crises that began in the past few years. What do they have in common? And who benefits most from "proving" that democracy, the rule of the people, does not work?
And bring back unions!
P.S. Fuck racists and all you "race realist" shitbags. The sooner all you idiots are marginalized and driven back under your rocks like you deserve, the better off the world will be for so many reasons. I look forward to outliving all of you.
P.P.S. I don't think the UK is a shitty isolated little island. I think that's what it could be and what its disaffected, alienated young people (many of whom didn't even get their "People's Votes" counted when they voted from the mainland) will consider it to be under Brexit.
