In all the talk of numbers for the Brexit vote later (I have defeat by 160 as my guess) another question - how many of those voting for the deal actually think it is a good deal for the UK?
Doesn't matter what they think as long as they support it you say? First, this is an international treaty, these are serious obligations. Second, how many MPs are going to be defending the deal in months and years to come as the best the UK could do?
Risk is that the UK bind ourselves by treaty to something we force through by a reluctant MP's vote that we don't actually politically believe.

I'm not a big fan of their solutions, but some of the ERG MPs analysis on this subject isn't far of the mark
The important question for the PM later in the event of a 100+ defeat - "What will you be doing differently as a result of this vote?"

There are plenty of suggestions to choose from across the political spectrum.
How is a Prime Minister able to mislead the House of Commons in such a way? Her deal simply is not what she describes.
She's even just contradicted herself, having said what her deal does, she then says it doesn't and that's for the Political Declaration. And saying no other deal is possible is also wrong.
Why not work with Parliament now instead of in the next phase? Meaningless promise.
This will be the most significant vote MPs will take part in until the next Brexit vote. PM has made the case for a deal, but not the deal she has put in front of them.
