... in fact, it was reported that the EU feared the UK could use the Northern Ireland Problem to push through all-UK approaches. And... the EU conceded.

This is, of course, just one example - there ore others (take eg the EU commitment to approach its partners about FTAs in the transition period or that period itself)

What we all know: the EU is a supranational organization that covers a lot of ground. That is one of the reasons why @annietrev wants to leave. That is an acceptable decision.
@annietrev But we have to be aware that part of the structure of the EU is constant discussion of the EU27. Constant engagement - and yes, in all of the broad fields of EU activity.

A general lesson about politics: Politics cares little about institutions or procedures. It cares for its position. So “don’t go a Referendum” or “the Single Market doesn’t matter” tend to be flexible arguments (short thread).
Let’s start with the latter. In the Brexit debate you hear “leaving the single market is a disaster” from one side, “the single market doesn’t matter” from another. The very same people might very well say the opposite when it comes to Scotland and the single market is the UK’s.
Somewhat to my own surprise it turns out that things are not that different when it comes to referenda. Apparently the 1997 referendum about an assembly in Wales saw the same people who now say referenda are holy vote against its result

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

Tragically what the #CorruptGOP doesn't seem to get is that because they are not dealing in facts, & they are propagating falsehoods to their base, an entire generation of Republican voters, workers, apparachik's at every level; the U.S.A. loses ultimately. There are
People basing real decisions, at real jobs- both public & private sector-on false information. We have the most powerful military, biggest Economy, in the most industrialized nation in the world making Domestic & Foreign Policy based on fasle information.
This can & will end only one of two ways. Either we reverse course before catastrophic consequence or we experience what could be the most catastrophic multi-national event that has occurred since WW2 & the most grave consequences since our Nation's inception nearly 300 yrs ago.

2/ The article doesn’t say what the staffers and advisers were “frustrated” and “embarrassed” about, but the interview gave them plenty of reason to feel that way.
