Also a new kind of politician for the New Era of CCP political warfare against Canada, Mr. Lee had no trouble flitting from one political camp to another when the opportunity arose. We often see him at United Front events standing next to political adversaries from the BC NDP.
From careful study of Mr. Lee’s involvement with CCP United Front groups over the past decade, we can conclude that he seeks legitimacy not necessarily from an ethnic voting bloc, but more from a CCP United Front voting bloc that exists in Metro Vancouver.
In 2008, for instance, we saw Mr. Lee join the PRC consulate, local CCP United Front groups, and other fealty-seeking BC politicians in entertaining a CCP United Front delegation from China. chinaqw.com/zgqj/cfjl/2008…
In 2010, we again see Mr. Lee hosting CCP United Front officials, this time from Zhuhai, Guangdong.
A party was thrown for 600 people, the consulate’s United Front attache was there along with other politicians and United Front organisers, and the Zhuhai Friendship Society of Vancouver was formed. chinanews.com/zgqj/2010/11-3…
In late 2010, Mr. Lee was there when Johnny Fong was made chairman of United Front group Canadian Alliance of Chinese Associations (CACA)
and the following year Mr. Lee attended the ten year anniversary of the infamous Canada Wenzhou Friendship Society.
